Simon is the founder and joint owner of the Allstone Group of businesses, Simon has been instrumental in creating a large waste management and aggregates business with a sizeable property portfolio. Building a management team and employing the best people (you are only as good as the people you employ) and leading them all on a journey strategically to position the business in growth and financial security. Building and growing profitable businesses is what Simon lives for and creating a great working environment for all staff with increased benefits. My interests are sport be it rugby or game shooting, mentoring and supporting various charitable organisations.
Richard Street

Richard’s role is the day to day running of the business making sure everything runs smoothly. He has been with the company 30 plus years and has done every job in the company, therefore he has such an in-depth knowledge. His first job included bagging sand in school holidays. Richard’s mum and dad started the company, Bob and Jean, Rich has the same work ethic putting in long hours to make sure everything runs smoothly and sets the company standard for commitment. Richard cycles to work most days from Cheltenham and is always up for a challenge and is hoping to climb Everest at some stage over the next couple of years. He has a keen rugby following, likes to train and really enjoys overtaking Robin in the Lido.

Robin’s role is developing and implementing commercial strategies according to the company’s goals and objectives. The role is broad and includes anything from risk management to procurement. Responsible for implementing and delivering large capital investment project management including financial reporting and managing the supply chain. Robin joined the company in October 2017 and his hobbies are to Swim, cycle, run, ski, sail, triathlons, holiday and gardening. I like to overtake Richard on my bike on our cycle home.

Joining after a prolonged stint at University in May 2016, Tom is described as horizontal by his father Simon & Uncle Rich. He prefers the terms ‘relaxed or ‘pensive’. Always keeping an eye on maintaining the family standard, Toms’ roles are varied and include aspects of purchasing, sales and accounts. When he isn’t at work, you can find him hanging out with his cats, watching nature documentaries, eating chicken nuggets and very infrequently doing some exercise.

Corinne has joined the Allstone Speedy Skips team as the Sales and Marketing Manager and is responsible for researching and developing all opportunities and planning and implanting new sales plans. Corinne joined the company in Autumn 2019 however has lots of plans to support the company to move forward with its development. In Corinne’s free time she renovates properties and spends time with her friends and family enjoying good food and drink. Corinne also has two dogs which she will tell you herself are her children.

Sandra has been with Allstone Speedy Skips for nearly six years and what started as a temporary position soon became a permanent one. Within that time, has progressed up to Head of the Broker Sales Team, a job which she very much enjoys. In her spare time, she loves to work on all types of craft projects, and spending time with her two beautiful cocker spaniels.

I joined Allstone Speedy Skips Finance team in January 2020 as Financial Controller. My initial appointment has been to restructure the entire accounting systems and prepare the business to be more dynamic and professional in its approach and functionality towards anything financial. My previous roles included Finance Director for an international Engineering and manufacturing Company.
The waste industry is a new adventure for me. Having only spent the past four years with waste management businesses. It’s a very diverse industry and no two days are the same.

Lauren’s job is to process all aspects of the accounts including sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control for Allstone and Bromsberrow. Lauren’s hobbies are cooking & baking, going to concerts (lover of rock/metal), horror films and going for walks in the countryside.

Ellen is our weighbridge operator and has been with the company since she moved from Australia in March 2019. Ellen is our friendly welcoming member of staff who makes the visit to Allstone run seamlessly. Ellen’s job on the weighbridge is to deal highly with our customers and ensuring that the ethos of the company is at the best it can be. When Ellen is not at work, she enjoys travelling Europe, enjoying different cuisine’s and experiences. She is always up for an adventure and is imbedding herself in the local culture of being a Gloucester rugby fan.

Taking care of Gloucester site and Bromsberrow quarry’s health and safety, drivers induction, hold a company WAMITAB, hold IOSH health and safety certificate, can train operators to use most machinery ie:- 360 excavator, loading shovel, bull dozer, hold a class one HGV license, hold full drivers C.P.C, hold first aid certificate, general yard duties. In Mark’s free time he likes taking his two mad Labs (Oscar and Bentley) for long walks, fixing and driving old landrovers, going down to our static caravan in Devon and just chilling.

James has been at the business for just over 2 years now and my main role is managing all Sand & Gravel deliveries from the yard. Secondary to this, I make sure that all of the 30+ vehicles in our fleet are dropped off for regular inspections at a local garage on a 6 weekly basis, ensuring they are running efficiently and safely. I also provide cover to other members of staff, whether this is on the weighbridge, transport management or loading vehicles on site. Outside of work I am a big fan of rugby, both watching and (trying to) play for a local team.

Adrian, Bobby or “Speedy Gonzalez” is the heart of Allstone Speedy Skips. Being the company mascot, his job covers managing our yard, loading and helping customers, corporate hospitality and last minute deliveries. He is a forward thinker and always happy to get his hands dirty. Being a fun loving man, he enjoys travelling in his caravan, rugby days at Old Boys and Kingsholm and spending time with his family.

TOP TEA AND COFFEE MAKER and LOVER OF CAKE (but not paying for it!). Emily joined Allstone Speedy Skips in March 2018 and I work alongside Sandra in the broker department as assistant broker and sales admin. Daughter of the infamous Bobby Ball. In Emily’s time outside of work she enjoys spending time with friends and family. Having fun and making people laugh.

Simon manages the recycle washing plant and five acre aggregate storage yard. Well known for his excitable and loud personality, he has a can do mentality. Simon likes nothing more than fishing and going to Amsterdam for long weekends watching the world go by and eating cake.

I joined Allstone in 2019, after 30 years in manufacturing, process and management. I have a wealth of experience in all fields ranging from operating machines, stock control, supervision , management and health and safety. I have recently passed my hgv class 2. I did this to ensure I always have various options available to me.
My job role at Allstones is to be flexible and to complete any task given on the day, whether this is driving or office based. It entails me to be an all-rounder in the job and to help the company to achieve their objectives.

Trish joined the Allstone Speedy Skips sales team after spending 30 years in the heating industry. Now learning and enjoying a totally different role and always happy to help. Out of work enjoys gardening, cooking preferably with a nice glass of wine. Walks along the coastal path and travel abroad exploring different cities when possible.

After leaving Gloucester for 5 years Archie has come back to join Allstone’s on their new graduate scheme. Having started in September of 2020 he is one of the newer members of staff but with the excellent staff around him is coming on quickly. Predominantly working in our sales office he is one of the first lines that customers encounter when looking for help with skips and aggregate. A big fan of music who used to be a figure in the Bristol nightclub scene can be heard relaxing to some country or out till sunrise or out with the DJ’s all night. Now he’s a big fan of the Forest and all the adventures within.

Jack started the company on the graduate scheme having graduated in 2019 from LSBU. Jack now works in the weighbridge office serving customers and am also in charge of the sand and gravel deliveries. In Jack's spare time he enjoys watching lots of different sports such as football, rugby, fighting, and horse racing. He also enjoys skiing and playing sports such as football and rugby. Also likes playing video games in my spare time. And also enjoy listening to music.
